I) I used to like a lot of british bands ex. Spice Girls, S Club 7, Robbie Williams, All Saints, 5ive, Westlife etc.

II) Most of the lyrics I sung I didn’t understand AT ALL. Such filthy messages to young impressionable people lmao smh.

III) Boy Bands are manfactured monstrosities that are forced to do horrible choregraphy & wear gimmicky hairstyles & clothes. & the message they convey is a horny hormone influenced mess motivated by label heads to generate excessive amounts of profit.

Lool so true right? I was telling her that I too came to a similar conclusion a while ago when listening to a particular song by b4-4 called Get down. (Here’s the youtube link so you can refresh your memory). but seriously, to think that I would actually get hyped when these kind of songs would come on the radio when I was a kid is embarrassingly nuts. But I was saying thank God that some of them actually came to their senses and redeemed themselves by making better music later on as seen through the works of my future husband Justin Timberlake, or the twins RyanDan (who in fact make up 66% of that same b4-4 group lol)

Come to think of it, pop music today is generally still just as nonsensical as it was back in the day. Pretty sure some kid will come to this same realization a good 15 years from now when they’re forced to come to terms with what these ‘hits’ were feeding them.

Would you ever be so crazy though? God forbid things don’t work out and you’re stuck with that persons name on you forever. Me and drama mama (and dad) were discussing this earlier today. I asked if she’d ever date a guy with some other girls name tatted on him. She said no, because there would def be so psychological power struggles between her and old girl because of that permanent reminder. I totally feel her though. Some might label it as a sign of insecurity or what not but nahhh son, I ain’t having that. Ever.
